Bringing my programs to life outside the stupid “personal computer” feels really something. The task that started at mid September, 2005 is reaching new heights. I having no physics or science background and being hopelessly bad in mathematics, i still survive the challenge.
Electronics For You, September 2005 issue had a article on Atmel ATmega8535. The article had a programming circuit and a sample program in assembly. This article was the one which started the war. Since then, step by step I have been busy in learning everything about this microcontroller. Using external electrical circuits with communication from my comp. The Hitachi LCD got cracked in Feb after nearly 4 weeks in trying to find why my circuit won’t work.
The real point where I have to do data interchange between the computer and the chip is now. I did suceed in taking input from the computer but only in a bit manner. The task at hand is to send a whole byte from the computer and then show it on the LCD.
